Vince Vu opened Anh Ơi Bake Shop in 2026 to tell a third-culture story through food, blending the Vietnamese flavors he grew up with and the American desserts that shaped him. His parents were refugees from Vietnam and longtime entrepreneurs, and the shop carries that same spirit of building something new while staying connected to where you came from. Located in the former Osami’s Barbershop in Seattle’s Japantown, the rotating menu features oversized cookies in flavors like Vietnamese Coffee with White Chocolate, Fried Banana, and Thai Tea Persimmon, plus goods from other local Asian American bakers.
